15 killed in Adamawa market bomb blasts
Many are feared killed in a twin bomb blast that rocked the Gombi Grain Market of Adamawa State.
An eye witness who spoke to our correspondent said the the blasts occurred around 2pm when the market was at its peak with so many people.
It was stated that several people were looking for their loved ones who went to the market to by grains.
The source said two male suicide bombers carried out the attack on the unsuspecting traders in the market.
It was gathered that several people from the Southern part of the country and their northern counterparts were affected in the attack on the grain market.
It was further gathered that the youths of the community arrested one of the attackers with bomb strapped to his body.
He was said to have confessed to his interrogators that that five sucide bombers were deployed in the market for the operation.
He was also said to have confessed that only two of the suicide attackers detonated their bombs while two others were still hiding in the locality.
