The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Yussuff Lasun, has said that Nigerian domestic airlines are not safe and as a result he does not fly them.
Lasun, who spoke at the National Assembly, said he preferred to travel 12 hours by road from Abuja to Oshogbo to flying.
“If someone like me, the Deputy Speaker of this country, does not travel (with) domestic airlines, it means something must be definitely wrong with the (aviation) sector,” he said.
