EU leaders on Saturday unanimously adopted tough guidelines for two years of Brexit talks, in an unprecedented show of unity ahead of divorce negotiations with Britain.
“Guidelines adopted unanimously. (The) EU-27’s firm and fair political mandate for the Brexit talks is ready,” said EU president Donald Tusk in a tweet as leaders met at a summit in Brussels without British Prime Minister Theresa May.
