Southampton now part owned by China’s Jisheng Gao and family

English Premier League side Southampton have entered into a partnership with Chinese businessman Gao Jisheng, the south coast club’s current owner Katharina Liebherr announced Monday.


“Following extensive and fruitful work, we are entering into a partnership with the Gao family and I am excited about what we will achieve together,” said Liebherr in an open letter to Saints supporters on the club’s website.
