Chelsea are facing the prospect of points deduction, after they were charged with failing to control their players, the UK Mirror reports.
Towards the end of their 2-1 win over Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night, players of both teams clashed on the pitch.
It is the seventh time in seven years the Blues are being punished.
Leicester have also been charged for their part in the brawl, which saw players and coaching staff clash on the touchline, following Ricardo Pereira’s challenge on Ben Chilwell.

Chelsea’s record is so bad that they were warned in July 2016 that they faced a points deduction, after appealing against a £375,000 fine levied against them for their part in a mass bust-up during a game with Tottenham two months earlier.
Since then, they have been charged two more times for failing to control their players. However, the Blues escaped with fines and warnings about their future conduct.
A former FA employee, with knowledge of the disciplinary process, said: “It seems there’s an issue within the club.”
Chelsea and Leicester City have until Tuesday to respond to the charge.
A possible deduction could have major implications for Chelsea, ahead of their final-day clash at Aston Villa, as they chase a Champions League spot.

This year’s Championship play-off will be played between Swansea and Brentford.
Swansea were held to a 1-1 draw by Barnsley on Saturday.
However, the Welsh club had defeated their opponents 1-0 in the first leg of the semi-final tie.
Matt Grimes scored in the 39th minute, before Cauley Woodrow levelled for the visitors in the 71st minute to set up a frantic finish.

The Swans, who finished fourth in the Championship, last played in the top flight in 2017/2018.
Earlier on Saturday, Brentford fought back from one goal down to beat 10-man Bournemouth 3-1 in the second leg and advanced 3-2 on aggregate.
The Championship playoff final will be played on May 29.

Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant, has berated President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo and their wives for staying away from the burial of Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru and other senior officers of the Nigerian Army on Saturday.
As newsmen rightly observed, President Buhari and his Vice, Osinbajo were conspicuously missing at the burial of the late Chief of Army Staff, General Ibrahim Attahiru and others on Saturday.
Attahiru and the other ten senior officers, died in a plane crash in Kaduna State on Friday when the Beachcraft 350 aircraft came down due to bad weather.
The burial rites was attended by top dignitaries in Nigeria’s Armed Forces and they were laid to rest at the National Military Cemetery.

And Adamu, an All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain wondered why even the First and Second Ladies could not accompany Fati Attahiru, wife of the deceased Army Chief to her husband’s last burial.
In a series of tweets on Sunday morning, Adamu said, “In a war situation, we lost four generals, majors and lieutenants, yet neither the President nor his vice, senate president nor his deputy, speaker nor his deputy deem it fit to grace the burial.
“Even the wife of the COAS was neither accompanied by the First Lady or Second Lady.
“Only two Govs, Zulum and Buni with a few ministers might have attended. While Gov. Wike is having political rally, other govs are attending a wedding in Kano.
“I saw the video of the wife of late COAS walking to pay her last respect to her husband with a few friends. I was heartbroken.
“Yet most of these leaders may say they have a very important reason why they didn’t attend. Coincidentally, all of them, none of them would sacrifice 30 minutes for the life of soldiers who died trying to protect us. The highest level officers of our land. How can that be?
“For them, Twitter is enough for condolences, but they can go campaigning all over the country, during elections.
“Apparently, the only thing that matters to our leaders is not us, or even the most senior members of their appointees, but political power.”

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer, Redeem Christian Church of God, has lauded the governance and leadership style of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, describing him as a man of faith.
Speaking when he visited Bello on Saturday in Lokoja, Adeboye also commended the governor for his religious tolerance.
Adeboye said that the show of faith by Bello in handling the Coronavirus pandemic was a rare demonstration from a political leader.
“We have heard and seen your show of faith in God, particularly in dealing with the Coronavirus. It takes the man of faith to have acted the way you did and we are very, very pleased with you.

“We have also heard the news of how you have been relating to people of every faith to the extent that you built the first chapel in the Government House, Lokoja, we are delighted, sir.
“I want to assure you that we will keep on praying for you, we will keep on praying for the people of your state and I believe that the Almighty God will answer our prayers for you,” Adeboye said.
Adeboye further assured the governor that he would continue to offer prayers for the leadership and people of the state at large.
In his response, Bello told Adeboye that the visit of the clergy was a gift and he was delighted to be hosting a father figure who served as a role model to many across the country, himself inclusive.
Bello asserted that it was evil for any leader to continually do wrong without recourse to natural justice.
The governor noted that in Kogi State under his leadership and considering the circumstances surrounding his emergence as governor and his election for a second term, his resolve was to do good by providing credible and impacting governance.
He alluded that his administration’s strive to ensure ethnic, religious balance, fighting criminality and other modest achievements were only natural and mandatory obligations expected of leaders bequeathed with the people’s mandate.
Bello urged Adeboye to continue to pray for the country, the state, both leadership and followership.
He stressed that all faiths at this very period should harmonise the nation, and called for divine intervention for the nation instead of beating the drums of division and war.

Former Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, housemate, Erica Nlewedim has likened her stay in the Big Brother house to being in prison.
Erica said her stay in the house was very stressful because she was conscious of the cameras.
Speaking during a podcast, the reality television star regretted showing somebody a particular side of her in the house.
According to her, she protects herself in the outside world but couldn’t do that in the house because it was like a prison.

Former Chief of Army Staff and Ambassador Designate to the Republic of Benin, Tukur Buratai has expressed shock over the sudden death of Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and his aides in the plane crash which occurred on Friday.
Buratai in a statement he personally signed sympathized and condoled with President Muhammadu Buhari, the families of the deceased, the Honourable Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence, the Chief of Air Staff, gallant officers, soldiers and airmen of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
He said the late officers gave their lives in the line of duty while on patriotic service to the nation.
He said the late COAS had served under him and he was well grounded for the job.

”This unfortunate incident deeply saddens me as it robbed us of the services of the Chief of Army Staff who, since he took over from me, had left no one in doubt as regards his determination to succeed in the various military operations across the country.
”He was at the verge of making the nation proud in the counterinsurgency and counterterrorism efforts when this tragedy occurred.
Buratai urged the Armed Forces of Nigeria to close ranks and make sure that their legacy lives on by consolidating on the gains made in the various operations.
He prayed Almighty Allah to grant them eternal rest.

The Cross River State Government has explained that the secretariat formerly occupied by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the State was a rented property that was renewed recently by the State Governor, Ben Ayade.
It was reported that following the defection of the Governor from PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, the secretariat was on Saturday taken over by Ayade’s new party.
The secretariat which is situated at 42 Murtala Mohamed Highway, was renovated on Saturday as some men were seen painting and cresting the building with APC colours, logo and flags.
A statement signed by Mr Effiok Cobham, the Chairman, PDP Caretaker Committee in Cross River State alleged that PDP had a subsisting tenancy over the property.

This has stimulated a face-off between the leadership of the two parties as police beefed up security in the area to avert violence.
However, in a statement by Christian Ita, Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to Governor Ayade, the state government insisted that the property belongs to the governor.
Ita described PDP’s claim as “nothing but tissue of lies and a cocktail of fraudulent” act, stressing that the statement was meant to mislead the public and “whip up undeserved public sympathy.”
The statement reads in part, “The puerile statement was an infantile attempt to mislead the public and whip up undeserved public sympathy. But Cobham and his gang failed woefully.
“First, the said property is a rented property that is not owned by the PDP.
“It will interest the public to know that the rent for the said property was only renewed three months ago by the same PDP that has now totally collapsed into the APC.
“The same former officials of the PDP who occupied the property when it was the secretariat of the PDP are the persons still occupying it having switched allegiance and moved to the APC with the governor.
“So, the claim by Cobham of forceful entry is fraudulent and criminal and should be ignored.
“His claim that the PDP still has tenancy right over the property is pathetic. Pathetic because Cobham failed to realise that the same person who renewed the rent just three months ago has moved to the APC.
“If Barrister Cobham is not hiding behind a finger by claiming that the rent was paid by his party, let him name any member of the PDP as constituted today that either contributed or singlehandedly paid the rent.
“Rather than fight over what does not belong to it, we will advise the shell-shocked and lame-duck PDP to look elsewhere to situate their secretariat”.
