The Presidency has decided to install anti-plagiarism software on the computer of its speechwriters to prevent further embarrassment of the country.
“One of the measures will be to install plagiarism detection software to check speeches before they are delivered by the president,” someone familiar with the matter said.
It's believed that other measures to counter plagiarism will also be put in place.
Recently, it was discovered that part of the address President Muhammadu Buhari read to launch the "Change Begin With me Campaign" was lifted from American President Barack Obama's election victory speech years ago.
The presidency had apologized for the incident and promised to punish the officer responsible for the gaffe.
