Manchester United have turned down a £60m offer from Real Madrid for David de Gea, according to reports.
De Gea was within minutes of joining the La Liga giants in August 2015, only for the deadline-day deal to collapse. He eventually signed a new deal to remain at Old Trafford.
That deal has two years to run, with the option of a further 12 months.
Real’s £60m bid is more than three times the £18m United paid Atletico Madrid for the Spain keeper in 2011 and almost double the current record fee for a goalkeeper.
However, United has rejected it, as they prepare for a return to the Champions League next season.
