President Buhari seeks waiver for Oyegun, Others

In a deft political move to placate contending forces in his All Progressives Congress APC regarding the leadership of the party, President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the National Executive Committee NEC to grant waivers to members of the Chief John Odigie-Oyegun led National Working Committee NWC who wishes to seek re-election.


The president spoke Tuesday in Abuja at the commencement of the emergency NEC meeting of the APC.
