Martin Luther King III, son of late civil rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to guarantee the fundamental freedoms of peaceful protesters in Nigeria including their right to protest.
The American human rights advocate made his known in a post via his Twitter account while reacting to the nationwide End SARS campaign.
According to him, injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
He said, “I appeal to @MBuhari to guarantee the fundamental freedoms of peaceful protesters in Nigeria, including their right to protest.
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
“We must stand with those protesting to End SARS,” he said.
