The Leader of Ile-Ife kingmakers and the Obalufe of Iremo quarters, Oba Solomon Omisakin has been confirmed dead.
His death further put uncertainty on the selection process of new Ooni of Ife which has resulted to litigations.
Oba Omisakin’s death is coming barely three months after the death of Oba Okunade Sijuwade in far away London.
Obalufe, the leader of the chiefs on right side of Ooni and next in rank to him, is also the prime minister of Ife and oversees the town in the absence of an Ooni.
Details of the circumstances surrounding his death was still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
