The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of Hon. Inuwa Bwala as the Special Assistant (Media) to the National Chairman of the party, Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff.
Also approved is the appointment of Hon. Shettima Shehu as the Special Assistant to the National Chairman on Special Duties.
Meanwhile, the party has approved the conduct of congresses for its Edo State chapter ahead of the upcoming governorship election in the state.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the party fixed ward congress for March 5, local government congress for March 10, while the state congress will hold on March 14.
