The Super Eagles’ proposed training camp in Paris, France after the May 26 friendly match against Corsica has been cancelled, a top official of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revealed.
The scheduled international friendly against Togo, has also been cancelled due to logistics.
Players and the officials will now return to Abuja after the Corsica game.
“The friendly announced by the Togo Football Federation will not hold due to several logistics reasons and the team are due back in Nigeria latest May 28,” the source, a member of the technical sub-committee of the NFF, said.
He also added that the players will be given a few days off when they return, before the squad list for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa is released.
