Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is set to equal the club’s Premier League record when his side tackles Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

Man United are looking for their first Premier League win of the 2020/21 season in their game against Brighton at the Falmer Stadium.

The Red Devils lost 3-1 against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford last weekend.

According to Manchester Evening News, Man United have not lost both of their opening games in a Premier League season since the inaugural campaign in 1992/1993 when they lost 2-1 against Sheffield United and 3-0 against Everton. They went on to lift the title that season.

Despite that Solskjaer will be keen for his team to get a first league win against Brighton, and he will be feeling confident given how good Man United’s away form was towards the end of last season.

Solskjaer’s side ended the previous league campaign unbeaten in seven away games from home, and now a victory against Brighton will see United equal their own impressive Premier League record.

Man United have won their last four Premier League away matches by an aggregate score of 10-0, and have the opportunity to become the first team in the English top-flight league to win five consecutive away matches without conceding since they achieved that feat under former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson in December 2011.
