The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 120 new cases of coronavirus, COVID-19 in seven states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja.
NCDC made the confirmation on Tuesday night via a post on its verified Facebook page.
It was gathered that the new figures remain the highest reported daily cases in nearly one month.
The development brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 164,423.
Meanwhile, the active cases been managed by the agency across the country, has jumped to 7,978.
So far, about 154,384 patients have recovered from the virus since its outbreak in the country.
However, 2,061 persons have died due to its complications.
