At 16 people were reportedly killed on Wednesday morning when a suicide bomber attacked Buhari Estate in Damaturu, Yobe State, northeast Nigeria.
Reports say the attack took place at a mosque inside Buhari Estate and was carried out by three teenage boys.
This was confirmed by the State Emergency Management Agency, (SEMA).
SEMA said several people were also injured in the incident.
Sources said the suicide bomber came near the mosque, hugged one of the boys around and blew up himself and others at the scene.
