The popular Westminster Market in Apapa area of Lagos has been razed by inferno.
The cause of the fire has not been ascertained.
The director, Lagos state fire service, Mr Rasak Fadipe, could not be immediately reached to comment on the fire.
However, sources are being contacted to get first hand information of the situation on ground.
