Manchester United Manager, Jose Mourinho has reportedly submitted a bid for Monaco star Kylian Mbappe.
According to Spanish outlet AS, Mourinho submitted a bid of £113m for the French teenager, which would comfortably top the world-record £89m that United paid for Paul Pogba 12 months’ ago.
However, the report also claims that Jose Mourinho will face competition in his pursuit of the forward.
Mbappe is attracting interest from elite clubs across Europe after shining for the Monaco in the French Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
Pep Guardiola and Manchester City have submitted a bid of £105m for the Monaco star, while Spanish giants Real Madrid have gone up to £118m.
Mbappe has become one of the game’s most sought-after talents after his breakthrough season with Monaco, when he scored 26 goals in all competitions.
