Real Madrid have reportedly joined the race to sign AS Monaco’s prodigy Kylian Mbappe with reports claiming the Champions League winners are planning to make a €135m (£117.5m).

Real have already approached the France Ligue 1 side with bids of €100m and €115m, both of which were reportedly rejected.

A €135m bid for the 18-year-old hot prospect will smash the £89m world record transfer fees Manchester United spent on Paul Pogba last summer.

Real’s deal for Mbappe would see him remain at Monaco next season because he could not yet command a starting role in Los Blancos’ first XI and would be better served to continue to play regularly in Ligue 1.

Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal are also interested in the French international.
