Manchester United caretaker manager, Michael Carrick has named the three players that did an ‘excellent job’ against Chelsea.

Carrick watched as Man United played a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.

Jadon Sancho opened the scoring for Man United in the second half during the encounter, but Chelsea eventually equalized through Jorginho’s penalty.

But Carrick has now singled out three Man United stars, Marcus Rashford, Sancho and Bruno Fernandes, for praise following the draw against Chelsea.

According to him, the trio did an excellent job against Thomas Tuchel’s side by blocking the middle and with the press during the clash.

Speaking after the game, Carrack said at his post-match press conference: “I thought the front three, Marcus, Jadon and Bruno, did an excellent job blocking the middle and with the press.

“I was really pleased with the effort today.”

Man United will now face Arsenal in their next Premier League tie on Thursday.
