Two kidnap kingpin suspects terrorizing Amala community and its environs in Udenu Local Government Area,of Enugu State have been arrested by the state police in their hide-out in the community.

The two suspects were said to be the architect of major armed robbery operations against motorists on the highway that linked the state through Obollo- Afor to the northern part of the country.

The suspects identified simply as Okwudili Agbo, a.k.a Smooth, and Chizoba Okoro, a.k.a Chameleon, were nabbed in the community around 10p.m. after engaging the police in exchange of gun-shots, which lasted for hours.

The suspects were badly injured in the gun duel with the police, which led to the recovery of one locally made double muzzle pistol, one single barrel gun with four live cartridges, two cutlasses and assorted objects believed to be charms.

It was further gathered that the suspects alongside their colleagues at large participated in the alleged kidnap of one Odo Cletus last May as well as several robbery operations on new Markurdi /Obollo -Afor Road.

Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ebere Amaraizu comfirmed the incident, adding that man-hunt for their fleeing colleagues had commenced.
