Embattled UNIOSUN English Department Lecturer, Dr. Wale Ojoniyi, has reacted to a sex video recently released by a 400 level student of the institution, Mercy Ikwue.
The student, after being suspended for an academic session, had baited the lecturer and recorded the video.
The video depicted him naked and caressing the student at intervals with the intention of having sex with her. He had been pestering her for an affair, reports say.
The video has gone viral since then, with many condemning the lecturer.
In his reaction, Dr. Ojoniyi said the video was a lie but did not deny being the man in the video or that the tape was manipulated.
"When you know the truth, it will either set you free or imprison your conscience …..And very soon, you will know the truth. I have just read your lies.”
He was also silent on who might be behind the scandalous video clip.
