Gabon and Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reiterated his desire to play for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Aubameyang has revealed that he would only consider leaving the German club for Los Blancos.
The reigning CAF African Footballer of the Year said that he promised his grandfather ,before he died, that one day he would wear the iconic white shirt of the European champions.
It is also mentioned that the Bundesliga giants will be desperate to hold on to their lethal hitman. Aubameyang, who netted 39 goals last season, added that he would not consider leaving the German club for anyone else.
“My grandfather, the dad of my mum, always wished that I would play in Spain. Two years ago, when he died, I promised him that someday I will play for Real - and I work hard to reach that goal,” he told ZDF
“Real Madrid is my main goal, but at the moment I like it in Dortmund. If there is a chance to go to Madrid, I will say immediately yes - but at the moment there is no contact.
“But the only club I would leave Dortmund for are Real Madrid. If they don't come calling, I don't leave."
The 27-year-old's desire to play for the UEFA Champions League champions, will come as a huge blow to Atletico Madrid and Manchester City, who are reportedly vying for his signature.
'Auba' joined Dortmund from Saint-Etienne in the summer of 2013. He has featured in 94 games, scoring 55 goals for the German club side.
