Popular Nigerian prophet, TB Joshua, has donated ₦7 million and bags of rice to over 250 Nigerian deportees who arrived from Libya Thursday night.
Over 258 Nigerian returnees from Libya have arrived the country aboard a chartered Airbus A330-200 with registration mark 5A-LAT operated by Libya Airlines.
The aircraft landed about 9:43pm at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The voluntary returnees included four children and one infant. were made up of of 233 males, 25 females.
Their return was made possible by the International Organisation for Migration, IOM, and the Nigerian embassy in Libya.
The deportees in the early hours of the Friday stormed The SCOAN located at Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos looking very unkempt, malnourished and weak.
The cleric posted about their arrival on his official Facebook Page:
“On Friday 12 May 2017, 258 Nigerians who were deported from Libya rushed to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in search of refuge. After learning of their impromptu arrival, Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Team immediately provided foodstuff and financial support.
“Many were frail and unkempt due to the hardship they had endured. Moved by compassion, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave each of them a cash gift totaling ₦7Million alongside two bags of rice and Morning Water to start their lives afresh. Glory be to Jesus Christ! Be a good giver- first to God, and then to your fellow men.”
Recll that TB Joshua recently declared his intention to leave Nigeria and relocate his ministry to the nation of Israel.
Speaking at his church service on Sunday 30th April 2017, Joshua disclosed that he had just returned from the ‘Holy Land’ after holding meetings with three prominent Israeli mayors of Jerusalem, Tiberias and the Jordan Valley.
TB Joshua said Israel offered him both land and facilities in an area around the biblical site of the Sea of Galilee for the Nigerian Pastor to organise meetings for international pilgrims.
“This is where my Father in Heaven came from – it’s non-negotiable,” Joshua explained, adding it was not a decision he undertook lightly.
“It’s the best place for you to meet Prophet T.B. Joshua. After your healing, blessing and deliverance, you can move around all the spiritual monuments which will establish your faith,” he clarified.
