Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Friday denied ties with ‘I See You’ group.

The group during the week announced that thousands of its members had moved to the All Progressive Congress, APC.

At a rally in Port Harcourt on Thursday, its national leader, Chizi Nyeomasila said the platform was formerly a pro PDP group but decided to join the APC because it was a better party.

Addressing the defectors at the event, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, insisted that there will be power rotation in the state in 2019.

Reacting, Rivers PDP Chairman, Felix Obuah called the group’s leaders scammers and political jobbers, insisting that the party did not know them.

A statement by his media aide, Jerry Needam said they merely threw up the name of his party to gain political relevance.

Obuah advised people to ignore the faceless group that had already duped APC.

“There is no doubt that “I See You” Group’ is another prank by the APC to divert the attention of the government and the PDP who are focused on the improvement of the well-being of the people and overall development of the State.

“The PDP in Rivers State do not know this faceless group abinitio. They are at their best a bunch of professional political jobbers who are ever ready to play the script of their pay masters, the APC”, Obuah stated.
