Former Special Assistant on New Media to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has reacted to the Super Eagles’ 4-0 win over Cameroon on Friday and says it should teach President Muhammadu Buhari unity.
Nigeria edged closer to qualifying for the 2018 World Cup with the result, thanks to goals from Odion Ighalo, John Mikel Obi, Victor Moses and Kelechi Iheanacho.
Omokri tweeted shortly afterwards: “Go Nigeria! Very proud of Super Eagles. What a great display of the ‘indomitable’ Nigerian spirit! May all their games be as good or better!
“Nigeria defeated Cameroon by 4 goals. We didn’t have Hausa goal, Igbo goal or Yoruba goal. Each Goal was a Nigerian goal to the glory of God
“To a certain man who believes in 97% versus 5%, I hope this match teaches you unity. Without 5%, the 97% couldn’t have had 4-0. We all count.
