Medical and Dental Consultants’ Association of Nigeria, MDCAN, has appealed to the Federal Government to commence immediate payment of all outstanding salary shortfalls and arrears owed members from 2016 till date.
The association made the appeal in a communique signed by its out-gone President, Prof. BalarabeGarko at the end of the 10th Biennial Delegates’ Meeting and Scientific Conference of the association held in Calabar, Cross River State.
The association lamented that its members have continued to receive salary shortfall from 2016 till date, describing the development as regrettable and unacceptable.
He said, “MDCAN is calling on the Federal Government to immediately demonstrate more commitment towards the payment of all outstanding salary shortfall and arrears from 2016 by working closely with the various tertiary health sectors.
