Many know Manny Pacquiao as one of the best pound for pound boxer of all times but not many know he is also a politician and lawmaker in his country, Philippines.
Pacquiao who lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr in a fight dubbed “Fight of the Century” has shown he has a big heart.
While Nigerian lawmakers are struggling to get N4 Billion approved for their new cars, this selfless boxer built houses for thousands of residents in his constituency and gave them out for free, sending a message to other lawmakers across the world especially those from Africa and Nigeria who have been repeatedly accused of doing very little for their constituencies.
I am so happy giving these houses free to my constituents in Sarangani Province for more than thousand families. pic.twitter.com/iQFbqWPxXC— Manny Pacquiao (@mannypacquiao) February 14, 2016
