Tottenham 2-2 Arsenal: Alexis rescues point for 10-man visitors
Alexis Sanchez was on hand to earn a vital point for 10-man Arsenal as they drew 2-2 with Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
After watching his side go a man down through Francis Coquelin's red card and then surrendering a lead to trail Mauricio Pochettino's men, Sanchez popped up with a goal in the 75th minute to ensure the gap to title rivals Spurs remains at three points.
The draw gives Leicester a chance to increase their lead at the top of the Premier League when they take on Watford on Saturday afternoon.
Tottenham enjoyed the brighter start to the game, with Harry Kane looking lively from the start and Erik Lamela failing to connect to a dangerous Danny Rose cross.
However, despite the hosts' early dominance, it was Arsenal who took the lead, with some poor defending allowing the Gunners to get into the box for the first time, ending with Ramsey flicking past Hugo Lloris from close range.
Mauricio Pochettino's men found a way back into the game early in the second half when Francis Coquelin was shown a second yellow card just 10 minutes after the restart.
Spurs pounced on the numerical advantage quickly, with Toby Alderweireld slamming home an equaliser just five minutes later.
Harry Kane had his side in the lead shortly afterwards when he curled in from just inside the box.
Arsenal equalised with 15 minutes left, however, when Alexis Sanchez fired sent a through ball past Lloris, earning his side a share of the spoils.
