A "man of God" known as Prophet Benjamin Bernard has been remanded in prison by an Ogbeson Magistrate Court, for reportedly defiling his 7-year-old Daughter in Edo State.
The 41-year-old was one of the presiding pastors of Destiny Explosion Ministry located in Benin City.
According to reports, he committed the ugly act early this year.
The victim , who was his third daughter, during her testimony told the court that her father used a white handkerchief to clean her private part after committing the act.
She said her father warned her not to mention the act to anyone or he would kill her.
Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Taye Omoruyi ordered the accused remanded in prison custody and adjourned the case to March 16 for further hearing.
